Dai Henwood
Dafydd Morgan "Dai" Henwood (born 7 February 1978) is a New Zealand comedian. He is best known for his hosting of several television shows found on Three but also performs stand-up comedy. Life and career Henwood was born in 1978 to father Ray and mother Judge Carolyn Henwood. Henwood has stated his great-grandfather was Welsh international rugby player, Dick Jones. Henwood studied Theatre and Film at Victoria University of Wellington, graduating with a BA in eastern religions, before winning 'Best New Face' on TV2's ''Pulp Comedy'' in 1999, the Billy T Award in 2002 and the Fred Award in 2007. In 2004 and 2005, Henwood toured the shows ''The Hot Stepper'' and ''Champagne Table Tennis'', and performed at the Tokyo Comedy Store and in Melbourne and around Britain. Wellington
Wellington ( mi, Te Whanganui-a-Tara or ) is the capital city of New Zealand. It is located at the south-western tip of the North Island, between Cook Strait and the Remutaka Range. ''Dancing with the Stars'' is a New Zealand television dance contest based on the British series '' Strictly Come Dancing''. The show introduces New Zealand celebrities paired with professional ballroom dancers who each week compete against each other in a competition to impress a panel of judges and the viewing public in order to survive potential elimination. The Moe Show
The Moe Show is a New Zealand live-action preschool puppet series. It follows puppet character Moe on his journeys of discovery throughout New Zealand. Characters Moe is based on the New Zealand legend of the Moehau Monster, and is performed by Jeremy Dillon. Fern the Forest Fairy is performed by Sarah Thomson. Family Feud (New Zealand Game Show)
''Family Feud'' is a New Zealand game show based on the American show of the same name. It began airing on Three on 15 February 2016 and finished on 27 November 2017. It is hosted by comedian Dai Henwood, and aired Mondays to Fridays at 5:30pm. The set, logo, and format are almost identical to the 2014 Australian version; it is filmed in Epsom. The winning family plays Fast Money for $5,000, and winners of five nights in a row win a brand new car. Thirteen families managed to accomplish the latter. On ''All-Star Family Feud'', six rounds would be played with the fourth and fifth questions being worth double points and the last question being worth triple points. Each team's charity or charities would receive a donation of $2,000. Each Fast Money point donated $10 and scoring 200 points still added $5,000 to any money won. ''7 Days'' is a New Zealand comedy gameshow similar in some ways to the British program ''Mock the Week'', hosted by Jeremy Corbett and created by thedownlowconcept. Paul Ego and Dai Henwood usually appear on each episode, along with other comedians, who form teams and answer questions about stories from the last week. Show format At the start of each show, Jeremy Corbett announces a content warning, saying "the following show is for adults only and contains bad language that may offend some people". This is often followed by an opening joke based on an event in the past seven days. ''The Tribe'' is a science fiction drama television series which premiered on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom on 24 April 1999.
