''Brave Command Dagwon'' (勇者指令ダグオン) is a Japanese anime series begun in 1996, created by Takara and Sunrise (company), Sunrise under the direction of Tomomi Mochizuki (who also did screenplay for the show) and was the seventh and penultimate entry in the Brave series, Brave (Yūsha) franchise. Earth is the target of the former Sargasso prisoners who seize control of Sargasso and attack our planet - to counter this, alien officer Brave Alien selects five (and then later seven as the series progresses) teenage men from Earth to receive the wrist-worn DagCommanders that shall transform them into the series' title team, the alien equivalent to "brave". Brave Series
The is a Japanese toy and anime franchise originally produced by Sunrise (now the primary division of Bandai Namco Filmworks), Nagoya TV, Victor Entertainment and Tokyu Agency, originally created by Takara (now Takara Tomy). The franchise ran from 1990 to 1998, producing eight official series and several side media including Original Video Animations, Toys and several memorabilia in Japan. It was one of Sunrise's notable productions in the 90's, and its run play a key role in the reintroduction of the Super Robot genre to the Japanese mainstream. As of 2022, the rights to the series were now owned by Bandai Namco Entertainment, following the 1993 acquisition of Sunrise, who produced and animated the series. Tomomi Mochizuki
, sometimes incorrectly romanized as Tomomichi Mochizuki, is a Japanese storyboard artist, screenwriter, and director, known for having collaborated with leading animation studios such as Studio Ghibli, Nippon Animation, Pierrot, and Sunrise. He sometimes uses the alias when writing screenplays or working on storyboards. Biography While attending Waseda University, Mochizuki became interested in animation and he joined the Waseda University Animation Association. In 1981, he began working for Ajia-do Animation Works. Mochizuki made his debut one year later when he acted as production director of the 1982 series ''Tokimeki Tonight''. is a Japanese anime television series produced by Sunrise's internal "Studio 7" division alongside Tokyu Agency. It is the eighth and final installment in Takara's ''Brave series'' franchise.
