Daggermouth
Daggermouth is a Canadian pop punk band that was formed in 2004 in Vancouver. They started around early 2004 quickly building a solid reputation by touring with bands such as Moneen and SNFU. Their name is a reference to a robotic fish from the ''Family Guy'' episode "A Fish out of Water (Family Guy), A Fish Out of Water". History Daggermouth consisted of Nick Leadlay (Singing, vocals, formerly of the band Playboy Assassin), Kenny Lush (guitar, formerly of The Retreads), Stuart McKillop (guitar and vocals, formerly of End This Week With Knives), Erik Nielsen (Bass guitar, bass), and Dan Donald (Drum kit, drums). Past members include drummer J.J. Heath and bass player Dana W.R. Edwards who now play in Vancouver based band Carpenter. Jarrod Mochenross and Tom Hillifer also filled in on bass at certain points in time. I Am the Avalanche is an American punk rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The group's name comes from a lyric written by Vinnie Caruana for a song which was later discarded. The phrase also appears in the poem ''"Oh, Immobility, Death's Vast Associate"'' by Stephen Dobyns; however, Caruana maintains that this is a coincidence, and that he was not aware of the poem until after naming the band. Seventh Star is an American Christian hardcore and Christian metal band, and they primarily play hardcore punk and metalcore. They come from Ocala, Florida. The band started making music, in 1998, founded by Mike Whitaker, Jai Leacock and Shawn Douglas and disbanded, in 2008, while their members were Shawn Douglas, Johnny Intravaia, Drew Russ, and Chase Moore, (Mike Whitaker rejoined for final hometown show and final European tour). They released four albums, the first being "Lifeblood" which was mainly DIY, followed by three with Facedown Records, ''Dead End'' in 2003, ''Brood of Vipers'' in 2005, and ''The Undisputed Truth'' in 2007. No Trigger is an American melodic hardcore band from Massachusetts, United States. History The band formed in 2001, with a sound which takes cues from like-minded outfits such as Strike Anywhere and None More Black. The band self-released two demos, one of them a split with Wasteland. By this point the band had started to gain accolades from the webzine likes of Pastepunk and Punknews, the latter of which referred to No Trigger as close to being "the best unsigned band in America". Hostage Life
Hostage Life was a Canadian punk band from Toronto. History Formed in 2002, Hostage Life released its first EP, ''Sing for the Enemy'' on Toronto's independent punk rock label, Underground Operations, home to such bands as Closet Monster and Protest The Hero. The band's second album on the same label, titled Walking Papers, received positive criticism from reviewers, and the first single, "This Song Was Written By A Committee" achieved widespread radio-play on Toronto's alternative music radio station, CFNY. Comeback Kid is a Canadian hardcore punk band formed in March 2001 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The band currently consists of vocalist Andrew Neufeld, guitarists Jeremy Hiebert and Stu Ross, bassist Chase Brenneman and drummer Loren Legare.
