Daeshon Hall
Daeshon Hall (born June 14, 1995) is an American football defensive end who is a free agent. He played college football at Texas A&M. High school career Hall attended Garfield High School in Seattle, Washington and Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Texas. As a senior he had 83 tackles and 23 sacks. College career Hall played at the Texas A&M University from 2013 to 2016. During his career, he had 158 tackles and 14 sacks. Professional career Carolina Panthers Hall was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the third round, 77th overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was placed on injured reserve on October 6, 2017. On September 1, 2018, Hall was waived by the Panthers. San Francisco 49ers On September 6, 2018, Hall was signed to the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad. Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. When most teams adopted a five-man line, two different styles of end play developed: "crashing" ends, who rushed into the backfield to disrupt plays, and "stand-up" or "waiting" ends, who played the more traditional containment style. Physically Unable To Perform List
Physically unable to perform (PUP) is a roster designation used in the National Football League (NFL) for players who suffered injuries during football-related activities prior to the start of training camp. Players on the PUP list may participate in team meetings, and use team training and medical facilities, but cannot practice with their team. There are two separate PUP lists: an active PUP list used prior to the start of the regular season, and a reserve PUP list used during the regular season. Active/PUP A player who, as a result of football-related injuries, is unable to take part in training camp practices may be assigned to the active/PUP list at the start of camp. Players can be moved off the PUP list to the active roster at any time prior to the start of the regular season, even after one practice. 2017 NFL Draft
The 2017 NFL Draft was the 82nd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players. It was held in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on April 27–29, returning to Philadelphia for the first time since 1961. The player selections were announced from an outdoor theater built on the Rocky Steps, marking the first time an entire NFL draft was held outdoors. The NFL announced that the draft was the most attended in history, with more than 250,000 people present. Starting with this draft, compensatory picks could be traded.
