Samuel Robert Buzby (born August 7, 1993), also known as Dabuz, is an American professional '' Super Smash Bros.'' player. In ''Super Smash Bros. for Wii U'', he won several major tournaments and was ranked between 3rd and 6th best player in the world throughout the game's competitive history. In ''Super Smash Bros. Ultimate'', he was ranked 7th and 9th best for the first and second halves of 2019, respectively. Dabuz primarily used Olimar in ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl''. In ''Super Smash Bros. for Wii U'', he switched to Rosalina and Luma as his primary character, with Olimar as his secondary. Genesis, stylized as GENESIS, is a series of annual '' Super Smash Bros.'' tournaments occurring in the San Francisco Bay Area of the US state of California. The first Genesis tournament took place in 2009 in Antioch at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds. Alongside EVO and The Big House, the GENESIS series is considered to be one of the largest and most prestigious ''Super Smash Bros.'' tournament series. Apex (tournament)
Apex was an annual esports tournament held in New Jersey that was focused on '' Super Smash Bros.'' The event's first incarnation was in 2009 with Jesus "Jman" Fernandez as the champion of '' Super Smash Bros. Melee'' and Elliot "Ally" Carroza-Oyarce as champion of ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl''. Each year the event grew with more competitors entering. Apex 2014 garnered 629 entrants and was the 2nd largest tournament for ''Melee'' at the time after EVO 2013. Though the tournament initially focused on ''Brawl'', the feature game has since switched to ''Melee'' due to its popularity. The Super Smash Con is an annual '' Super Smash Bros.'' convention held at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia. The event is held in early August that praises the video game series published by Nintendo along with other video games, and features competitions for every entry in the series. Diddy Kong
is a fictional character who appears in games belonging to the ''Donkey Kong'' and ''Mario'' video game franchises, debuting in the 1994 ''Donkey Kong'' series game, ''Donkey Kong Country''. Nintendo designer Kevin Bayliss commented Diddy Kong was "penciled in" as a spider monkey, although he is not specifically referenced as belonging to a particular species.
