Daan Rots (born 25 July 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a winger for Eredivisie club Twente. Club career Rots made his professional debut with Twente in a 4–1 Eredivisie win over FC Emmen on 9 January 2021. On 17 February 2021, he signed his first professional contract with Twente for 2+1 years. Groenlo
Groenlo () is a city in the municipality of Oost Gelre, situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands, on the German border, within a region in the province of Gelderland called the Achterhoek (literally: "back corner"). Groenlo was a municipality until 1 January 2005, when it merged with Lichtenvoorde. Until 19 May 2006 Groenlo was the official name of Oost Gelre. FC Emmen is a Dutch football club based in Emmen, Drenthe. They play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, after winning the 2021–22 Eerste Divisie title. Founded in 1925, the club entered the professional Eerste Divisie in 1985. In 2018, Emmen were promoted to the Eredivisie for the first time, but in 2021 they were relegated to the Eerste Divisie again. 2022 they were promoted again and play the 2022-2023 season in the Eredivisie again.
