DaShaun Wood
DaShaun Wood (born September 29, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player. Standing at , he played at the point guard position. College career DaShaun Lynch grew up in Detroit, where he went to Crockett High School. Soon after joining the Wright State Raiders in 2003, he changed his family name from "Lynch" to "Wood", his father's name. In his senior year, Wood led the Raiders to the Horizon League championship and, subsequently, its second-ever NCAA tournament appearance. He had also been the league's top scorer during the regular season and was named its Player of the Year, the first Raider to achieve that feat. Professional career After being left unselected in the 2007 NBA draft, Wood began his professional career by signing with the Italian club Pallacanestro Cantù. Horizon League Men's Basketball Player Of The Year
The Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the Horizon League's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1979–80 season, the first year of the conference's existence. Six players have won the award multiple times: Byron Larkin, Brian Grant, Rashad Phillips, Alfredrick Hughes, Keifer Sykes, and Loudon Love. Hughes, unlike the other four who each won twice, was awarded the player of the year on three occasions. There have only been three ties in the award's history (1981, 1983, 2022). Butler, which left for the Atlantic 10 Conference in 2012 and is now in the Big East Conference, has seven recipients, which is the most all-time. Stade Lorrain Université Club Nancy Basket, commonly referred to as SLUC Nancy Basket, is a French professional basketball club based in Nancy. Gordon Walter Herbert (born February 16, 1959) is a Canadian-Finnish professional basketball coach and a retired professional basketball player. He is the head coach of the Germany national team. Playing career Herbert attended two-year North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene, and transferred to the University of Idaho in Moscow in 1979, where he played college basketball for the Vandals under head coach Don Monson. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920.
