DYFI All India Presidents
Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) is a youth organisation in India. It was founded in its inaugural conference held from 1–3 November 1980 at Shaheed Kartar Singh Saraba village in Ludhiana, Punjab. DYFI identifies itself to be an independent organisation. Former West Bengal chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee who was a former secretary of Bengal fraction, and a founder Central Committee member of DYFI, Manik Sarkar – the former chief minister of Tripura – was a vice president of the organisation, and M. Vijayakumar who was the speaker of Kerala legislative assembly was once former all-India president of DYFI. In 2021, M.B. Rajesh, a former all-India president of DYFI was elected as the Speaker of Kerala legislative assembly. As of 2012, DYFI had a membership of 2.2 million which rose from 1.4 million in 2011. The All India Youth Federation (AIYF) is a nationwide youth organisation of Communist Party of India founded on May 3, 1959. AIYF is affiliated to World Federation of Democratic Youth. And member of general council of WFDY. Kuthuparamba
Kuthuparamba is a town and a municipality in the Kannur district, state of Kerala, India. It is about 24 km south east of Kannur and 14 km east of Thalassery. History Kuthuparamba was part of Kottayam dynasty under the reign of Pazhassi Raja in the midievel period. Since the British captured Kuthuparamba area, the area fell under British rule was formed as Kottayam taluk. Saheed Kartar Singh Saraba
Kartar Singh Sarabha (24 May 1896 — 16 November 1915) was an Indian revolutionary. He was 15-years old when he became a member of Ghadar Party; he then became a leading luminary member and started fighting for the independence movement. He was one of the most active members of the movement. In November 1915 at Central Jail, Lahore, he was executed for his role in the movement when he was 19 years old. Early life Kartar Singh was born into a Grewal Jat Sikh family in Sarabha, a village near Ludhiana in Punjab. His father was Mangal Singh Grewal and his mother was Sahib Kaur. He was very young when his father died and his grandfather brought him up. Tribal Youth Federation
Tribal Youth Federation (in Bengali ''Upajati Juba Federation'') is an organization affiliated to Democratic Youth Federation of India in Tripura. TYF organizes youth from the tribal populations of the state. TYF has a separate central committee and publishes ''Bini Kharad'' (Our Voice). The supreme body of TYF is the Central Conference. TYF works in close coordination with Ganamukti Parishad and is often considered as the youth wing of GMP. TYF was founded in 1967 to counter the influence of Tripura Upajati Juba Samiti.
