DXET-FM
DXET (106.7 FM), on-air as 106.7 Radyo Digoseño, is a radio station owned by Interactive Broadcast Media and operated by the City Government of Digos. Its studios are located along Magsaysay St., Digos. History The station was launched on July 8, 1993, as Kool 106. It initially carried a hot adult contemporary format, but shifted to a mainstream Top 40 format in 1995. In September 2004, it rebranded as Dream FM and switched to a smooth jazz format. After PLDT's media subsidiary MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. acquired TV5 and its affiliate ABC television stations from the consortium led by the Cojuangco group and Malaysia-based broadcaster Media Prima Berhad in March 2010, Dream FM and its regional stations were spun off to become Dream FM Network, led by former ABC stockholder Anton Lagdameo. Dream FM Network
Dream FM Network was a radio network in the Philippines. It was founded in September 2004 as a radio arm of ABC Development Corporation (now TV5 Network, Inc.), and later on Interactive Broadcast Media. Dream FM Network shut down its national network in June 2011, with its Manila flagship station currently operated by Ultrasonic Broadcasting System as Energy FM. It currently operates DYKP as Boracay Beach Radio. History In September 2004, 11 months after Cojuangco took over the management of ABC, 106.7 was reformatted as Dream FM. The station aired in a smooth jazz format added up with R&B, Soul, Bossa Nova and House. The station branding was named after Dream Satellite TV, also owned by Cojuangco. Interactive Broadcast Media
Interactive Broadcast Media, Inc. (IBMI) is a Philippine radio network based in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. History IBMI was established in 1996 by broadcast veteran Roberto Bacsal and businessman Rene Palma as a media outlet for the then-newly acquired DWWW. Back then, its offices were located at #23 E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave, Quezon City. In 2010, Antonio "Tonyboy" Cojuangco Jr. acquired a non-controlling share of IBMI and transferred ownership of ABC Development Corporation's former radio stations, collectively known as Dream FM Network, into the former. In November 2011, IBMI moved to its new home in Atlanta Center, San Juan, Metro Manila after Radio Mindanao Network took over DWWW's operations. Digos, officially the City of Digos ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Digos; fil, Lungsod ng Digos), is a 2nd class component city and capital of the province of Davao del Sur, Philippines.
