DR3 (car)
DR3 was a Danish national television channel, produced by the public service broadcaster, DR. The channel was mainly focused on sport, humor, science, music, documentary and fiction. It was launched on 28 January 2013, replacing DR HD. DR3 programming is directed towards the young and young adult audience, between 15 and 39 years old. The channel airs at least one film each evening, not rarely American comedy, thriller-comedy and action. Series like Vikings, The Knick, Ripper Street and Black Sails has been aired on DR3, and so have X-game sports and even computer games like championships in Counterstrike. The channel doesn't air news. Documentaries are mostly of technical type, for instance "Mayday, Air Disaster" and "Ice Road Truckers". From 2020, DR3 ceased broadcasting as an open television service, and is instead offered as an online-only service. 720p (1280×720 px; also called HD ready, standard HD or just HD) is a progressive HDTV signal format with 720 horizontal lines/1280 columns and an aspect ratio (AR) of 16:9, normally known as widescreen HDTV (1.78:1). All major HDTV broadcasting standards (such as SMPTE 292M) include a 720p format, which has a resolution of 1280×720; however, there are other formats, including HDV Playback and AVCHD for camcorders, that use 720p images with the standard HDTV resolution. John Rufus Gifford (born August 5, 1974) is an American politician, diplomat, and reality television personality, who serves as the chief of protocol of the United States. Between 2013 and 2017, he was the United States Ambassador to Denmark. In 2012, Gifford was Finance Director for Barack Obama's presidential re-election campaign.
