Kevin Leyers (born 22 July 1984), better known as DJ Rebel or at times just Rebel, is a Belgian DJ and record producer based in Antwerp and known for electro house, progressive house, big room house and Latin house music. Biography He has already been successful in Belgian night venues and the Belgian charts since 2008 when he released his bootleg release "Put Your Bucovina Up" remixing Ian Oliver's "Bucovina". Starting 2009, he has had a great number of hits in the Belgian charts the biggest being the Latin hit "Cuba" reaching number 7 in Belgium in 2011 and appearing on the German charts. Rebel released his studio album ''Rebel & Friends'' after appearing in the Belgian Summerfestival under that name. Let Me Love You (DJ Rebel And Mohombi Song)
"Let Me Love You" is a song by Belgian Electro house artist DJ Rebel and Congolese-Swedish singer Mohombi featuring Shaggy. The song comes from his upcoming album. It contains samples of music from the tradition Algerian song " Abdel Kader" sung by Algerian artists Cheb Khaled, Rachid Taha and Faudel. The song was released on 1 August 2016. Background "Let Me Love You" contains sampling of an Algerian traditional song, which was taken from an even more famous Algerian Folk song called " Abdel Kader" (1993). DJ Rebel sampled the musical refrain from it into his new single, with new English language lyrics written by Mohombi and Shaggy. Shaggy and Mohombi previously worked together in " I Need Your Love" (2014), credited to Shaggy, Mohombi, Faydee and Costi, a hit that received commercial success. Edegem
Edegem (, first mentioned as ''Buizegem'' in 1173) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Edegem proper. In 2021, Edegem had a total population of 22,244. The total area is 8.65 km². The old Sint-Antoniuskerk (church of Saint Anthony) is no longer open to the public. It is not sure when it was first built (some sources go back as far as the 16th century). The absence of heavy industry makes Edegem a typical commuter town. Despite its location next to the metropolis of the city of Antwerp, Edegem is not fully urbanized. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands. The show currently airs on Fridays from 2 to 6 PM on Qmusic. Orville Richard Burrell CD (born October 22, 1968), better known by his stage name Shaggy, is a Jamaican-American reggae rapper, singer, and songwriter who scored hits with the songs "It Wasn't Me", " Boombastic", "In The Summertime", "Oh Carolina", and "Angel". Mohombi Nzasi Moupondo (born 17 October 1986) is a Congolese-Swedish musician, singer, composer and dancer. He grew up in Norsborg and Kista near Stockholm. Mohombi was RedOne's first signing to 2101 Records in joint venture with Universal Music Group. From 2000 to 2008, Mohombi was part of the Swedish hip hop group Avalon with his brother Djo Moupondo. Mohombi released his debut solo single "Bumpy Ride" in August 2010. The Gibson Brothers are a French musical group, originally from Martinique, who had their greatest success during the disco boom of the late 1970s. Their best known hit singles included "Cuba" and " Que Sera Mi Vida". Career The three brothers, Chris Francfort (born 20 June 1954, lead vocals, percussion), Patrick Francfort (23 February 1957 – 4 April 2020, vocals, drums) and Alex Francfort (vocals, keyboards), were born in Lamentin Acajou on Martinique. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts.
