DJ Obi
Obinna Levi Ajuonuma (born 29 April 1985), professionally known as DJ Obi, is a Nigerian disc jockey and Syndik8 Record's official DJ. He won Best World DJ at the 2011 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. He was nominated for 2016 The Future Awards Africa Prize for Creative Professional. Early Ajuonuma is from Ideato South, Imo State. He was born in Lagos State to Levi Chibuike Ajuonuma and Josephine Ajuonuma. He had his early education in Nigeria at Rainbow College, before moving to the US where he studied broadcasting and communication at Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Career Ajuonuma started his career as a disc jockey while still in college studying media, broadcasting and communications at Worcester State University. MTV Africa Music Awards
The MTV Africa Music Awards (also known as the MAMAs) were established in 2008 by MTV Networks Africa (now Viacom International Media Networks Africa) to celebrate the most popular contemporary music in Africa. MOBO Awards
The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin, also known as the MOBOs) are an annual British music award presentation honouring achievements in " music of black origin", including hip hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music. The MOBO Organisation was founded by Kanya King, and the first MOBO award was presented to Baby D, in the Best Dance Act category.
