DJ Dolores
Helder Aragão, better known as DJ Dolores, is a Brazilian DJ. Helder Aragão was one of the participants of the mangue movement, as a designer. The crabs with brains that decorate the first release of the mangue movement were created by him. Plugged into electronic music Helder, renamed DJ Dolores, began creating his sound at the end of 1990s. Soon after came the Orchestra Santa Massa, who melded grooves with regional rhythms. The group soon gained national and world notoriety. Mangue Bit
The mangue bit or manguebeat movement is a cultural movement created circa 1991 in the city of Recife in Northeast Brazil in reaction to the cultural and economic stagnation of the city. The movement largely focuses on music, but it has its own fashion and slang, and encompasses aspects of visual art. It mixes regional rhythms of Brazilian Northeast, such as maracatu, frevo, coco and forró, with rock, soul, raggamuffin, hip hop, funk and electronic music. Overview The movement has its own manifesto, ''Caranguejos com Cérebro'' (or " Crabs with Brains" in English), written in 1991 by singer Fred 04 and DJ Renato L (Renato Lin). Its title refers to Recife's inhabitants as crabs living in Recife's mangrove environment. ''Tatuagem (''Tattoo'')'' is a 2013 Brazilian drama film, the feature film directorial debut of Hilton Lacerda. It was awarded as the Best Picture at the 2013 Festival de Gramado. Plot The film is set in Recife in the 70's, and follows the story of Clécio Wanderley, the leader of the theatrical troupe Chão de Estrelas, which performs concerts full of debauchery and nudity. One of the main stars of the team is Paulete, with whom Clécio maintains a friendship. One day, Paulete receives a visit from his brother-in-law, the young Fininha, who is in the army. Enchanted by the universe created by the Chão de Estrelas, he is soon seduced by Clécio.
