DEL Records is an American Spanish language record label founded by Angel Del Villar in 2009. It's headquarters is in Anaheim, California and includes DEL Records, DEL Publishing, DEL Studios and DEL Entertainment, all of which focus on Regional Mexican music, specifically with genres from Mexico's pacific states such as Banda, Pacific-style Norteño, Norteño-Banda, Sierreño, Sierreño-Banda and Mariachi. DEL Records has launched the careers of chart-topping artists like Gerardo Ortíz, Luis Coronel, Ulices Chaidez y Sus Plebes, and Régulo Caro. DEL Records and its artists are frequent winners at the Billboard Latin Music Awards including five in 2017. Sony Music Entertainment US Latin LLC (often referred to as Sony Music Latin) is a record label owned by Sony Music. The label focuses on artists of Latin music. History In 1979, CBS Records (now Columbia Records) ended its partnership with Caytronics after eleven years of distribution. CBS established its own division for Latin music in 1980 called CBS Discos (also known as Discos CBS). In 1988, CBS Records was acquired by Sony and its Latin division was renamed to Sony Discos in 1991. In 2003, Sony Discos was re-branded as Sony Norte following the departure of former Sony Discos president Oscar Llord. Eslabon Armado is an American regional Mexican group formed in 2017. The group consists of Pedro Tovar (lead vocals), Brian Tovar (bass), Damian Pachecho (requinto guitar) and Ulises González (acoustic guitar). Los Plebes Del Rancho De Ariel Camacho
Los Plebes del Rancho (in English, "The guys from the ranch"), are a Regional Mexican band, specializing in the Sierreño-Banda style. The group was founded in 2013 as Ariel Camacho y Los Plebes del Rancho, by Ariel Camacho and his friend César Sánchez and were originally signed to JG Entertainment. They signed with DEL Records in 2014, but then left in 2016 due to disputes with the owner. The death of Ariel Camacho caused changes to the group. José Ariel Camacho Barraza (July 8, 1992 – February 25, 2015) was a Mexican singer-songwriter who performed the Sierreño and Regional Mexican music genre.
