Daijon Cotty Davis (born August 3, 1999), known professionally as DC the Don, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Aside from his work as a rapper, he is also noted as being a former basketball player playing with the Amateur Athletic Union organization. Early life Davis started writing songs at 8 years old. He recalls dancing to tracks from American singer Michael Jackson during his youth. During his teens, he played basketball with the Amateur Athletic Union alongside future NBA player LaMelo Ball, whom he befriended, and his brothers Lonzo and LiAngelo Ball. The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) () is an American not-for-profit performance-rights organization (PRO) that collectively licenses the public performance rights of its members' musical works to venues, broadcasters, and digital streaming services (music stores).
