DC Universe Presents Batman Superman
''DC Universe Presents Batman Superman'' was part of the 'Collector's Edition' line of DC Comics anthologies published monthly in the UK by Titan Magazines from September 2007 to March 2008. It reprinted DC Comics titles from the United States featuring Batman, Superman and related characters from the DC Universe and accompanied '' Batman Legends'', ''Justice League Legends'' and ''Superman Legends'' as the fourth DC Collectors' Edition published by Titan. ''DC Universe Presents Batman Superman'' was ultimately cancelled with issue #7 due to lack of sales. Format Following a similar format to the ''Marvel Collector's Editions'' published in the UK by Panini Comics, each issue was 76 pages long, typically reprinted three modern stories and was sold once every 28 days through UK newsagents. Titan Magazines is the magazine-publishing division of Titan Publishing Group. Titan Magazines' publishing directors are Ricky Claydon and John Dziewiatkowski. History Titan Magazines launched in 1995 with '' Star Trek Magazine'' with John Freeman as first editor, although it had previously published several one shot film tie-in titles. Since then it has published many film, TV and comics titles, including poster magazines for Tim Burton's '' Batman''. Some of Titan's magazines are published in the US, although not all, some with an entirely separate magazine. In April 2016, Bleeding Cool published a blog/vlog entry pertaining to concerns over Titan's UK reprints of DC titles, specifically cancellations and a lack of updates and communication with readers, as well as addressing the frequent inconsistencies regarding the publication dates of future issues. ''Superman/Batman'' is a monthly comic book series published by DC Comics that features the publisher's two most popular superheroes: Superman and Batman. ''Superman/Batman'' premiered in August 2003, an update of the previous series, ''World's Finest Comics'', in which Superman and Batman regularly joined forces. ''Superman/Batman'' explores the camaraderie, antagonism, and friendship between its title characters. Jeph Loeb, the series' first writer, introduced a dual- narrator technique to present the characters' often opposing viewpoints and estimations of each other, which subsequent series writers have maintained.
