DBC News ( bn, ডিবিসি নিউজ; Dhaka Bangla Channel) is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable news television channel, owned and operated by Dhaka Bangla Media & Communication Ltd. The Chairman of the channel is Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, former Media Adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The Managing Director is Sahidul Ahsan and CEO & Editor in Chief is Monjurul Islam. History In 2013, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission granted Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury's Dhaka Bangla Media & Communication a license to broadcast "Dhaka-Bangla Television". It also received its frequency allocation in January 2015. The channel was launched as DBC News on 21 September 2016. Sahidul Ahsan was the founding managing director while Monjurul Islam was the founding news editor. 1080i
1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video. Hasanul Haq Inu
Hasanul Haq Inu (born 12 November 1946) is a Bangladeshi politician and the former Minister of Information of Bangladesh. He leads a faction of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal and was involved in a Marxist insurgency in the 1970s. Early life and education Inu was born in Bheramara, Kushtia District to A H M Qamrul Haq, an employee of Karnaphuli Paper Mills, and Begum Hasna Hena Haq. Inu graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the East Pakistan University of Engineering and Technology in 1970. Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics. Television Channels In Bangladesh
Around 45 privately owned television channels were permitted by the Government of Bangladesh as of 2019, of which thirty four are currently on air. Five television channels, namely CSB News, Channel 1, Diganta Television, Islamic TV, and Channel 16, have been taken off air. Detective Branch is a specialized unit of Bangladesh Police. According to Human Rights Watch, there is extensive documentation of human rights violation by Detective Branch and Rapid Action Battalion. Feni District
Feni is a district located in southeastern Bangladesh. Khaleda Zia
