Pulsating White Dwarf
A pulsating white dwarf is a white dwarf star whose luminosity varies due to non-radial gravity wave pulsations within itself. Known types of pulsating white dwarfs include DAV, or ZZ Ceti, stars, with hydrogen-dominated atmospheres and the spectral type DA; DBV, or V777 Her, stars, with helium-dominated atmospheres and the spectral type DB; and GW Vir stars, with atmospheres dominated by helium, carbon, and oxygen, and the spectral type PG 1159. (Some authors also include non-PG 1159 stars in the class of GW Vir stars.) GW Vir stars may be subdivided into DOV and PNNV stars; they are not, strictly speaking, white dwarfs but ''pre-white dwarfs'' which have not yet reached the white dwarf region on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram. ''Dav'' (based on the initials of the first names of Daniel Okáli, Andrej Sirácky and Vladimír Clementis) was a leftist journal published between 1924 and 1937 with intervals in Prague and then in Bratislava by the group Davisti. The journal featured illustrations by Frans Masereel, George Grosz, Marc Chagall and others. It had a Marxist stance. A reprint edition came out in 1965. Enrique Malek International Airport (Spanish: ''Aeropuerto Internacional Enrique Malek'') is an international airport serving David Sur, a city in the Chiriquí Province of Panama. During heavy travel times, the airport registers 900 operations monthly, serving approximately 20,000 passengers from Mexico, the United States, Canada and Central America. DAV University is a private university in Jalandhar, Punjab, founded in 2013 under the aegis of DAV Trust. The Democratic Association of Victoria was the first socialist organisation in Australia. The group was founded in February 1872, but it lasted less than a year. David "Dav" Murray Pilkey Jr. (; born March 4, 1966) is an American cartoonist, author, and illustrator of children's literature. He is best known as the author and illustrator of the children's book series, ''Captain Underpants'', and the children's graphic novel series, ''Dog Man''. Life and career Pilkey was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 4, 1966 to the Reverend David Pilkey, Sr. and Barbara who was the church organist. He has one older sister. Pilkey was brought up in a conservative Christian household and went to Christian schools throughout his life.
