D2B (Thai: ดีทูบี) was a Thai boy band from the Thai record label, RS promotion. The number one boy band of all time in Thailand, being the top boy band in Asia Received the MTV Asia Awards 2003. Members The three members of the group were: Apichet Kittikorncharoen, nickname Big (born 2 December 1982 – died 9 December 2007), Worrawech Danuwong, nickname Dan, (born 16 May 1984), and Kawee Tanjararak, nickname Beam, (born 18 May 1980). History The name "D2B" was created from the first letters of the members' nicknames, Dan, Big, and Beam, in which one name started with a "D" and 2 names started with a "B". It is a popular Thai boy band that has sold more than a million copies, every album. On July 22, 2003, Big was in a major accident where his car flipped into a dirty roadside canal, leading to a bacterial infection in his brain. Taksaorn Paksukcharern ( th, ทักษอร ภักดิ์สุขเจริญ; RTGS: Thaksa-on Phaksukcharoen) is a Thai actress and model who has starred in several lakorns. She is known for her roles in the 2008 version of ''Jam Loey Rak'' as well as the title character in ''Wanida'' (2010), which won Best Foreign Series at the International Drama Festival in Tokyo. She graduated with BA from Chulalongkorn University. Personal life In 2012, she married a lieutenant and playboy from a wealthy family, Songkran Taechanarong. They lived separately for over a year after Mr.Taechanarong's affair was exposed. The actress filed for divorce on September 25, 2018. Channel 9 (Thailand)
MCOT HD (in Thailand called Channel 9 MCOT HD th, ช่อง 9 เอ็มคอตเอชดี) is a Thai free-to-air television network launched on 24 June 1955 and owned by MCOT. History The channel was originally launched as Channel 4 Bang Khun Phrom (ช่อง 4 บางขุนพรหม) with test transmissions beginning on 6 September 1954 and beginning formal broadcasts on 24 June 1955. The then new channel operated under the management of the Thai Television Company (founded 1952). The channel began to broadcast daily in 1957. In 1974, the channel migrated from broadcasting in black-and-white at 525-lines on VHF channel 4 to a colour using a 625-line system on VHF channel 9 (the second in Southeast Asia). On 3 February 1977, the Thai Television Company was dissolved and channel 9 was put under direct State administration.
