D12 Road (Croatia)
The D12 ( hr, Državna cesta 12) is a partially built state road in central Croatia that is intended to connect the Vrbovec 2 interchange (with D10) with Bjelovar, Virovitica and end at the border crossing Terezino Polje (with Hungary). Its planned length is . Planned upgrade to motorway The A13 motorway ( hr, Autocesta A13) was a planned motorway, expected to be built in the central Croatia northeast from Vrbovec, extending towards the cities of Bjelovar and Virovitica. As of May 2012, only the Vrbovec 2 interchange, the starting (western) terminus of the A13 has been completed. The route was planned to be built as a six lane motorway and extended northeast to Bjelovar, Virovitica and Terezino Polje border crossing to Hungary. The A13 motorway represented the eastern arm of the so-called Podravina Y, as the western arm is the partially constructed A12 motorway. Bedenik
Bedenik is a village in Bjelovar-Bilogora County, Croatia. Administratively it belongs to Nova Rača. Location It lies 15 km from the centre of Bjelovar, which may be reached on road with 18 km driving. It lies 5 km from the centre of the settlement, on the left bank of Bedenička. History Its territory has been inhabited since the 17th century, when the territory up to that time under Osman rule has been populated by Christians. On the Josephinian Land Survey dated from 1774 it is shown as ''„Dorf Bedenik”''. During the military administration, it belonged to the regiment of Szentgyörgyvár. In his repertorium published in 18008 in Buda János Lipszky mentions the village as ''„Bedenik”''. Croatian Kuna
The kuna is the currency of Croatia, in use since 1994 (sign: kn; code: HRK). It is subdivided into 100 lipa. The kuna is issued by the Croatian National Bank and the coins are minted by the Croatian Mint. The plural form of the word kuna in Croatian can be ''kuna'' or ''kune'' (e.g. ''2 kune'', ''10 kuna'') because of different number declension rules. 2022 will be the final year for the kuna as Croatia will replace it with the euro (€, EUR) on 1 January 2023. The 2009 Croatian local elections were held on 17 May, with the second round held on 31 May where necessary. Bjelovar-Bilogora County
Bjelovar-Bilogora County (; hr, Bjelovarsko-bilogorska županija ) is a county in central Croatia. The central town of Bjelovar was first mentioned in 1413, and it only gained importance when a new fort was built in 1756 to defend against the Ottoman invasions. The town was pronounced a free royal town in 1874. The other part of the county name is for the hill of Bilogora that stretches along the northern edge of the county. Other towns in the county are Daruvar, Garešnica, Čazma and Grubišno Polje. Gudovac
Gudovac is a village in Croatia. It lies near to Bjelovar and about east of the Croatian capital of Zagreb. Gudovac was first settled during the Middle Ages and had an ethnically mixed population through much of its history. In 1931, Gudovac had 1,073 inhabitants living in 330 households. Croats formed two-thirds of the population, while the remaining inhabitants were ethnic Serbs. The Gudovac municipality had a population of 8,000, including 3,000 Serbs. On 28 April 1941, during World War II, the village was the site of a massacre of up to 196 Bjelovar Serbs by the fascist, Croatian nationalist Ustaše movement.
