Dux Logroño
DUX Logroño is a Spanish women's football club based in Logroño, that currently plays in Primera Federación. History The entity's origins go back to the year 2000 when a project for integrating schools and educational centers of Logroño was carried out. However, the institution was officially founded in 2008 with teams of all ages, including the female senior team. On 3 June 2018, the women's team promoted to Primera División after defeating CD Tacón in the promotion playoffs. The team made their debut in the 2018–19 season, successfully avoiding relegation after ending in the 11th position. Estadio Municipal Las Gaunas is a football stadium in Logroño, La Rioja (Spain), La Rioja, Spain. The stadium holds 16,000 spectators and was opened on 28 February 2002. It is the home ground of Segunda Federación club UD Logroñés, and the women's Primera División (women), Primera División team EDF Logroño. History and events The stadium was opened in 2002 to replace the Estadio Las Gaunas (1923), old stadium with the same name. On 6 September 2011, it hosted the Spain national football team in a UEFA Euro 2012, Euro 2012 qualifier against Liechtenstein national football team, Liechtenstein, which the hosts won 6–0 with braces from Álvaro Negredo and David Villa. Competition format The champion of each group and the best runner-up will qualify to the promotion play-offs. The 2024–25 Copa de la Reina de Fútbol is the 43rd edition of the Spanish women's association football national cup organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). Barcelona are the defending champions. Schedule and format All ties are played in a single-match decider at the home ground of the lower division opponent, except for the semi-finals which will be a two-legged match. 2024–25 Primera Federación (women)
The 2024–25 Primera Federación FutFem was the 24th season of the second highest league tier of women's football in Spain, and the second under that name and using a single group format. Summary 14 teams took part in the league: 10 from the previous season, 2 relegated from the previous Liga F campaign, and 3 promoted from the Segunda Federación. The winner (or the highest eligible club in the event of a reserve team winning) was to be promoted automatically to Liga F Moeve, with the next four eligible clubs entering a post-season play-off phase for a second spot.
