Dutch Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2022–23
The Netherlands men's cricket team toured Zimbabwe in March 2023 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, and both teams' preparations for the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier. Earlier the series was scheduled to be played in September 2020, however, in August 2020, the tour was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ahead of the series, the Netherlands played a 50-over warm up match against a Zimbabwe XI side. In the first ODI, Netherlands recovered from 110/6 in their chase of the host's 249 to win by three wickets and with one ball remaining, with Teja Nidamanuru scoring an unbeaten century. Zimbabwe won the second ODI by a run, and levelled the series at one victory apiece, with Wesley Madhevere taking a hat-trick. Craig Ervine
Craig Richard Ervine (born 19 August 1985) is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who captains Zimbabwe in limited overs matches. Ervine is a left-handed batter. He was born in Harare and has played Test and limited overs cricket for the Zimbabwe national cricket team and first-class cricket for a variety of Zimbabwean sides in the Logan Cup. He holds Irish passport. In January 2022, in the opening fixture of the series against Sri Lanka, Ervine played in his 100th One Day International (ODI) match. Musa Nadeem Ahmed (born 10 December 1997) is a Dutch cricketer. In October 2020, he was part of the Dutch Academy squad. In May 2021, he was named in the Netherlands A team for their tour of Ireland to play the Ireland Wolves. Colin Niel Ackermann (born 4 April 1991) is a Dutch-South African cricketer who plays for Leicestershire County Cricket Club in England and the Netherlands national cricket team. Blessing Muzarabani (born 2 October 1996) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Rising Stars in the 2017–18 Logan Cup on 4 October 2017.
