Dutch Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2021–22
The Netherlands cricket team toured New Zealand in March and April 2022 to play one Twenty20 International (T20I) and three One Day International (ODI) matches. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Originally scheduled to take place in January or February 2022, the tour was moved back slightly due to COVID-19 quarantine requirements for travelling to New Zealand. In November 2021, New Zealand Cricket confirmed the full dates of the tour. The initial tour schedule had the first ODI at the University Oval, Dunedin. However, on 27 January 2022, New Zealand Cricket announced a change to the itinerary, with the match being moved to Bay Oval. Prior to the international matches, three warm-up games between the New Zealand XI team and the Netherlands were also played. Tom Latham (cricketer)
Thomas William Maxwell Latham (born 2 April 1992) is a New Zealand international cricketer who is vice-captain of the New Zealand cricket team in Tests and ODIs. He is the son of former cricketer Rod Latham. He has the highest number of centuries among the New Zealand openers in Tests. He is primarily a batsman who also plays as a wicket-keeper. Playing for Canterbury, he made his first-class cricket debut against Central Districts in 2010 in the Plunket Shield. Wicket-keeper
The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. Bastiaan Franciscus Wilhelmus de Leede (born 15 November 1999) is a Dutch cricketer. His father, Tim de Leede, played in 29 One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the Netherlands. Philippe Ronald Peter Boissevain (born 18 October 2000) is a Dutch international cricketer who made his debut for the Dutch national side in August 2019. In July 2019, he was selected to play for the Amsterdam Knights in the inaugural edition of the Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament. Shariz Ahmad (born 21 April 2003) is a Dutch cricketer. He has played for the Netherlands national cricket team since 2022. He is a right-arm leg spin bowler. Personal life Ahmad was born in Amsterdam on 21 April 2003. He the younger brother of fellow Netherlands international Musa Ahmed. George Herrick Worker (born 23 August 1989) is a New Zealand international cricketer. He was named in New Zealand's squad for their tour to Zimbabwe in August 2015, after Mitchell Santner was ruled out due to injury. Inderbir Singh "Ish" Sodhi (born 31 October 1992) is a New Zealand cricketer born in Punjab, India who represents the New Zealand national cricket team in all formats, and Canterbury in domestic cricket.
