''Dushman'' is a 1939 Hindi social romantic drama film. It was directed by Nitin Bose for New Theatres Calcutta Production. The film starred K. L. Saigal, Leela Desai, Najmul Hassan, Prithviraj Kapoor, Nemo and Jagdish Sethi. The music was composed by Pankaj Mullick and the lyrics were written by Arzu Lucknavi. Nitin Bose besides directing also wrote the story and wielded the camera for the film. The dialogue writer was Sudarshan. The story subject about tuberculosis was suggested as a propaganda film by Viceroy Lord Linlithgow and his wife, who were then the Chairman and Patron of King George’s Tuberculosis Fund. The film is about two friends who want to marry the same girl unknowingly till one of them discovers he has tuberculosis. ''Dushman'' () is a 1957 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Raja Rishi. The film stars Dev Anand and Usha Kiran. Plot Ram Singh (Master Romi) is a schoolboy who one day brings home a penknife, which one of his classmate had forgotten to take back. He shows it to his mother, saying that he must return it the next day. His mother, however, says it need not be returned and uses it. This pampering and encouragement to take another person's property by his mother spoils Ram Singh. He soon begins to steal frequently from others and becomes a dacoit. ''Dushmun'' () is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language film produced by Premji and directed by Dulal Guha. It is based on a novel by Virendra Sharma. The film stars Rajesh Khanna in the title role and for which he received a Filmfare nomination as Best Actor, the only nomination for the film. Dushman (English: Enemy) is a 1990 Hindi film starring Mithun Chakraborty and Mandakini as the lead protagonists. DD Metro also known as DD 2 was an Indian free-to-air television channel. It was launched in 1984 as DD2 in Delhi as an alternative to DD National. Later, it increased its coverage area by expanding to Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. In 1993, the channel was rebranded as DD-2 Metro. On 3 November 2003, the Prasar Bharati Corporation replaced DD Metro with their new news channel, DD News. David Aleksandrovich Dushman (russian: Давид Александрович Душман; 1 April 19234 June 2021) was a Soviet Red Army soldier and a fencing trainer of the Soviet Olympic team. Dushman assisted in the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in occupied Poland, and also fought in the Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of Kursk during World War II. Second World War Dushman was a volunteer in the Red Army as a tank driver, and participated in the Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of Kursk during the Second World War. He received more than forty decorations and distinctions, including the Order of the Patriotic War. In the early afternoon of 27 January 1945, Dushman drove his T-34 tank over the electric fence of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in occupied Poland, thereby initiating the liberation of the camp by allowing Red Army ground troops in the 322nd Rifle Division to enter the camp.
