Ane Brun
Ane Brun (; born Ane Brunvoll on 10 March 1976) is a Norwegian songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist of Sami people, Sami origin. Since 2003, she has recorded ten albums, eight of which are studio albums of original material (including a collection of duets), an acoustic album, and a covers album; she has also released three live albums, two compilations, one live DVD, and four EPs. She has lived in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2001, where she writes, records, and runs her own label (Balloon Ranger Recordings). Ron Sexsmith
Ronald Eldon Sexsmith (born January 8, 1964) is a Canadian singer-songwriter from St. Catharines, Ontario. He was the songwriter of the year at the 2005 Juno Awards. He began releasing recordings of his own material in 1985 at age 21, and has since recorded seventeen albums. He was the subject of a 2010 documentary called '' Love Shines''. Early life Sexsmith grew up in St. Catharines and started his own band when he was 14 years old. Career Sexsmith was seventeen when he started playing at a bar, the Lion's Tavern, in his hometown. He gained a reputation as "The One-Man Jukebox" for his aptitude in playing requests. However, he gradually began to include original songs and more obscure music, which his audience did not favour. Tingsek is a Swedish musician and producer from Södra Sandby, Sweden. Career To date, Tingsek has released seven albums. “Tingsek” (2005),”World of Its Own” (2006) and “Too Many Feelings at the Same Time” (2008) were all released on Universal Music. This partnership came to an end in 2009 which prompted him to start World Of Its Own Recordings, and this is the label on which ”Restless Soul” (2009) and "Tingsek & Vindla String Quartet feat. "Stop!" is a song by English singer-songwriter Sam Brown from her debut studio album of the same name (1988). It was written by Brown, Gregg Sutton and Bruce Brody. "Stop!" reached number 52 on the UK Singles Chart when it was first released. ''A Temporary Dive'' is the second studio album by the Norwegian singer-songwriter Ane Brun, initially released in Norway and Sweden on 7 February 2005. The album debuted at No. 1 in her native Norway. The track "Song No. 6" features the Canadian singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith and also appears on her ''Duets (Ane Brun album), Duets'' album. It was recorded at an after-show party following their performances at the Storsjöyran festival in Östersund, Sweden. The track "Balloon Ranger" was said by Ane to be analogous to her troubles learning the English language, or rather how she sometimes comes up with nonsense words that have no inherent meaning. Lars Bygdén (born 1973) is a Swedish singer, song-writer and guitarist. Biography Lars Bygdén was born 1973 in Sundsvall, Sweden. His musical career started as a guitarist in the psychedelic bands Magic Broom and The Shades of Orange. In 1996 Bygdén formed the country-rock combo The Thousand Dollar Playboys. The group released two critically acclaimed albums and got a lot of attention in Swedish media. The band dissolved in 2003.
