Dublin Ladies' Senior Football Championship
The Dublin Ladies' Senior Football Championship is the senior Ladies' Gaelic football competition featuring clubs affiliated to the Dublin GAA. Ballyboden St. Enda's are the competitions most successful club, having won 10 titles. Between 2000 and 2008 they completed a nine-in-a-row. They won their tenth title in 2010. In more recent seasons, the most successful club has been Foxrock–Cabinteely. Between 2015 and 2021 they completed a seven-in-a-row. The winners of the Dublin Senior Ladies' Football Championship are awarded the Michael Murphy Perpetual Cup. They also qualify to play in the Leinster Ladies' Senior Club Football Championship and if they win that, they qualify for the All-Ireland Ladies' Club Football Championship. The Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Contae Átha Cliath) or Dublin GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in the Dublin Region and the Dublin county teams. Naomh Mearnóg is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the parish of Portmarnock, County Dublin, Ireland. The club was founded in 1975 and now fields a total of 35 teams in football, hurling, camogie and ladies' football. These include three adult football teams, two adult hurling teams, two adult camogie teams and an adult ladies' football team. They also cater for many juvenile teams. History Early years In the late 1920s and early 1930s, there were two grades of adult inter-club football: senior and junior. It was the same at inter-county level. O'Toole Park
O'Toole Park ( ga, Páirc Uí Thuathail), also known as Lorcan O'Toole Park ( ga, Páirc Lorcáin Uí Thuathail), is a Gaelic games venue in Crumlin, Dublin. Rathcoole, County Dublin
Rathcoole () is an outer suburban village, south-west of the city of Dublin, in the jurisdiction of South Dublin, Ireland. Rathcoole is also a civil parish in the Barony of Newcastle. Etymology Ráth is the Irish word for a ringfort, a circular embankment often erected by wealthy farmers or local chiefs. There are several forts in the civil parish of Rathcoole, one in a field between the village and Saggart village. There is no definite explanation for the name 'Rathcoole,' but it could well be ''Ráth Cumhaill meaning 'the ringfort of Cumhaill'', the father of Fionn mac Cumhaill. UCD GAA or University College Dublin Gaelic Athletic Association club is a Dublin based Gaelic games club in University College Dublin. The UCD hurling club was founded in 1900 and boasted the mottos "Ad Astra" and "Cothrom Féinne". The first team was an amalgamation of students from UCD and Cecilia St. Although UCD had been playing Gaelic football unofficially since 1900, the official club history began in the season of 1911/1912. Park Rangers GAA
Park Rangers were a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club and Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) club based in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. They were one of the few clubs in Dublin with no juvenile section and had a single junior Football team. The club was founded in 1966 and the colours were green and gold. Players from the club An Riocht which disbanded in the early 1970s moved to the club while others moved to Clanna Gael/Fontenoy. A Riocht itself was founded in the 1950s following the disbandment of the Peadar Mackens club. The club won its first championship, the Dublin Junior Football Championship E in 2008.
