"Drop the Game" is a song by the Australian musicians Flume (musician), Flume and Chet Faker. It was released on 18 November 2013, by Future Classic from their EP, ''Lockjaw (EP), Lockjaw''. The song peaked at number 18 on the ARIA Charts, ARIA Singles Chart and was certified Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association for shipments exceeding 70,000 copies. It was voted number five on radio station Triple J's Triple J Hottest 100, 2013, Hottest 100 of 2013. The song was also nominated for ARIA Award for Best Dance Release, Best Dance Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2014, but it lost to "High (Peking Duk song), High" by Peking Duk. It was released as a CD single in Germany on 23 January 2015. Background Flume and Faker had previously worked together on the track "Left Alone" from Flume's 2012 album, ''Flume (album), Flume''. Harley Edward Streten (born 5 November 1991), known professionally as Flume, is an Australian DJ and music producer. He is regarded as a pioneer of future bass who helped popularise the genre. His self-titled debut studio album, ''Flume'', was released in 2012 to positive reviews, topping the ARIA Albums Chart and reaching double-platinum accreditation in Australia. Flume has remixed songs from such artists as Lorde, Sam Smith, Arcade Fire, Hermitude and Disclosure. His second studio album, ''Skin'', was released in 2016, again topping the ARIA Albums Chart. The album won the Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Peking Duk are an electronic music group made up of disc jockeys and music producers Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. The pair first garnered attention in 2012 with the release of a Passion Pit bootleg remix. Gangsta Walking
Gangsta Walking (often referred to as: G-Walk , Buckin, Tickin, Jookin, or Choppin) is a street dance that originated in African-American communities in Memphis, Tennessee alongside "Buck" music during the 1990s. The Gangsta Walk is commonly performed to crunk music due to the particular 'bounce' in the beat and the movement the dancers make to keep with it. Though Gangsta Walking has been around for many years, much of the dance is still exclusive to the city and surrounding areas. Gangsta Walk was created in Memphis. Storyboard P (born Saalim Muslim) is an American street dancer. He is one of the foremost practitioners of the flex genre of street dance, and is particularly noted for his improvisational style. He developed a type of dance called "mutation" or "mutant", which uses fractured movements in an homage to stop motion animation, which the name "Storyboard P" also alludes to. Early life Storboard P was born Saalim Muslim, and grew up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
