Drifters (2011 Film)
''Drifters'' ( it, Gli sfiorati) is a 2011 Italian drama film directed by Matteo Rovere. It is based on the 1990 novel ''Gli sfiorati'' by Sandro Veronesi. Plot For the young Méte, a graphologist fascinated by the psychology hidden behind writing, it's an embarrassing and difficult situation having to take care of his half-sister Belinda, a seventeen-year-old teenager in the balance between everything and nothing, during the second marriage of Méte's father (the only thing the two have in common). To avoid the situation, Méte pretends to be mostly busy with Damiano, a womanizer friend, and Bruno, colleague and separated father. But Méte must eventually face his half-sister, a subject hitherto only grazed. Matteo Rovere
Matteo Rovere (born 22 January 1982) is an Italian director, screenwriter and producer. He's the youngest Italian film-maker to have won the Nastro d'argento for best producer, with ''I Can Quit Whenever I Want''. Life and career Born in Rome in 1982, Matteo Rovere started directing short films at very young age, and his shorts were screened at over 140 festivals. In 2007, his short film ''Homo Homini Lupus'' won the Nastro d'Argento for best short film. In 2009 he made his feature film debut with the coming of age drama '' A Game for Girls'', which was entered into the competition at the 2008 Rome International Film Festival. He debuts as film producer with the documentary ''Pietro Germi – Il bravo, il bello, il cattivo,'' presented at the 62° Cannes Film Festival. Aitana Sánchez-Gijón de Angelis (born 5 November 1968) is a Spanish-Italian film actress. Biography She was born in Rome on 5 November 1968, to a Spanish father , a history lecturer exiled from Francoism, and an Italian mother, Fiorella de Angelis, a lecturer. She was named after Aitana Alberti, Rafael Alberti's daughter. The latter dedicated Aitana Sánchez-Gijón some verses upon her birth. She and her parents moved to Madrid when she was 1 year old. Genetic sexual attraction is a concept in which a strong sexual attraction may develop between close blood relatives who first meet as adults. There is no evidence for genetic sexual attraction being an actual phenomenon, and the hypothesis is regarded as pseudoscience.
