Dreamworld is a theme park and zoo situated on the Gold Coast in Queensland. It is Australia's biggest theme park with over 40 rides and attractions. Attractions ranges from thrill rides such as The Claw and Pandamonium to family and kids attractions such as the Dreamworld Express and Sky Voyager. Among the 40+ attractions includes the world's third tallest and fastest drop tower, The Giant Drop and The Gold Coaster, the oldest operating steel roller coaster in Queensland. The park is made up of several themed lands: Ocean Parade, DreamWorks Experience, ABC Kids World, Tiger Island, Main Street, Gold Rush Country, WhiteWater World and Corroboree. Dream World ( th, ดรีมเวิลด์, ) is an amusement park in the Thanyaburi district, Pathum Thani province, Thailand. The park includes three roller coasters and various other attractions. Dreamworld (band)
Dreamworld was a Swedish Eurodance group consisting of Bella Morel, Fredrik Lenander and Lars Erlandsson. The band were based in Malmö. The voice of Dreamworld was the female vocalist Bella Morel. She also took part to the lyrics writing. All their CDs were released under the label RAIRAir Chrysalis. Biography Dreamworld is best known for their 1995 released club single " Movin' Up" which was their first single. It was rather successful, and a UK Remixes CD followed. Movin' Up was a popular club hit in Europe and it reached #12 on the Australian ARIA Chart later in its release year. It is featured on many compilations and the single sold gold in Australia. The song also gained success among dance clubs in North America peaking at #30 on the US Dance chart in March 1996. It has since been covered by Dannii Minogue (for her "Girl" album) and Mexican artist Paulina Rubio (as "Despiertate" on her "Planeta Paulina" album). "Dreamworld" is a song by Australian rock band Midnight Oil released in 1987 as the fourth and final single from their sixth studio album, '' Diesel and Dust''. In the United States, the song reached No. 16 on the Modern Rock chart and No. 37 on the Mainstream Rock chart. The song laments the loss of much of Queensland's built heritage — including the Cloudland Dance Hall, where Midnight Oil had frequently performed — which was demolished under the then-ruling Joh Bjelke-Petersen state government. Prior to the song being released, the band performed a version with some alternative lyrics at the Live @ RMIT, Melbourne, Australia - March 7, 1987 concert. The Dreamworld theme park, which inspired the song's name, is briefly shown in the music video. The video also includes demolition footage of the above-mentioned built heritage. ''Under the Blacklight'' is the fourth and final full-length studio album released by American alternative rock band Rilo Kiley. It was released on August 20, 2007, in the United Kingdom - three years and three days after the release of their third album, ''More Adventurous''. Warner Bros. Records released the album one day later in the United States. "Silver Lining" was No. 27 on ''Rolling Stone''s list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007. Album history The album marks the return of the band following individual solo projects. Dream worlds (also called dream realms or illusory realms) are a commonly used plot device in fictional works, most notably in science fiction and fantasy fiction. The use of a dream world creates a situation whereby a character (or group of characters) is placed in a marvellous and unpredictable environment and must overcome several personal problems to leave it. The dream world also commonly serves to teach some moral or religious lessons to the character experiencing it – a lesson that the other characters will be unaware of, but one that will influence decisions made regarding them. When the character is reintroduced into the real world (usually when they wake up), the question arises as to what exactly constitutes reality due to the vivid recollection and experiences of the dream world. The Dream Cycle is a series of short stories and novellas by author H. P. Lovecraft (1890–1937). Dream
A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. Humans spend about two hours dreaming per night, and each dream lasts around 5 to 20 minutes, although the dreamer may perceive the dream as being much longer than this. The content and function of dreams have been topics of scientific, philosophical and religious interest throughout recorded history. Dream interpretation, practiced by the Babylonians in the third millennium BCE and even earlier by the ancient Sumerians, figures prominently in religious texts in several traditions, and has played a lead role in psychotherapy.
