Dreamin' Wild
''Dreamin' Wild'' is a 2022 American biographical drama film, written, directed, and produced by Bill Pohlad. It follows the life of singer-musician brothers Donnie and Joe Emerson. It stars Casey Affleck, Walton Goggins, Zooey Deschanel, Noah Jupe, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chris Messina, and Beau Bridges. The film had its world premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival on September 7, 2022. It is scheduled to be released on August 4, 2023, by Roadside Attractions. Bill Pohlad is an American film producer and director. He is the son of Mary Eloise (O'Rourke) and billionaire financier Carl Pohlad, who owned the Minnesota Twins baseball franchise from 1984 until his death in 2009; and the brother of Jim Pohlad, who took over as the team's principal owner upon their father's death and Bob Pohlad, owner of NorthMarq Capital. Donnie and Joe Emerson are an American musical duo. Their late 1970s work was largely unknown until it was rediscovered by a new generation of fans in the 21st century. Background Living on a 1600-acre family farm in rural Fruitland, Washington, in the late 1970s, the brothers' father, Don Emerson Sr., encouraged his teenage sons' musical interest as they began writing and playing their own music.
