Draw My Life
Draw My Life is a type of internet video in which the author narrates their life history, set to a fast-motion video of the author drawing illustrations on a whiteboard of key figures and events in their life. Drawings can be as simple as stick figures, or fully fleshed-out, created digitally or digitised. Often, the videos reveal previously hidden upsetting or unfortunate histories or stories, and end in the author thanking their audience for aiding in their success. The first video of its kind was posted to YouTube by Irish YouTuber and musician Bry in September 2011. The style of video became a popular trend on YouTube in 2013, when several other popular YouTube personalities began uploading such videos, some of which were featured in popular online news publications. Time-lapse Photography
Time-lapse photography is a technique in which the frequency at which film frames are captured (the frame rate) is much lower than the frequency used to view the sequence. When played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus ''lapsing''. For example, an image of a scene may be captured at 1 frame per second but then played back at 30 frames per second; the result is an apparent ''30 times'' speed increase. Similarly, film can also be played at a much lower rate than at which it was captured, which slows down an otherwise fast action, as in slow motion or high-speed photography. Processes that would normally appear subtle and slow to the human eye, such as the motion of the sun and stars in the sky or the growth of a plant, become very pronounced. A YouTuber is an online personality and/or influencer who produces videos on the video-sharing platform YouTube, typically posting to their personal YouTube channel. The term was first used in the English language in 2006. Influence Influential YouTubers are frequently described as microcelebrities. Since YouTube is widely conceived as a bottom-up social media video platform, microcelebrities do not appear to be involved with the established and commercial system of celebrity culture, but rather appear self-governed and independent. This appearance, in turn, leads to YouTubers being seen as more relatable and authentic, also fostered by the direct connection between artist and viewer using the medium of YouTube. Bry (singer)
Bry O'Reilly (born Brian O'Reilly; 16 February 1989), known professionally as Bry (formerly BriBry), is an Irish singer/songwriter from Dublin. Bry's eponymous debut album, ''Bry'', was released on 11 November 2016. At the time of the album's release, Bry was opening for Twenty One Pilots on the European leg of their Emotional Roadshow World Tour. Career Bry originally performed under the name "BriBry". He operated without a manager, booking agent or record label for four years, booking a trip overseas, tweeting his intention to be in a certain spot in a city at a set time, and then waiting with his guitar to see who might show up.
