It contains the complete concert recorded on board their Caribbean cruise on March 8, 2004, with bonus tracks recorded in Vail, Colorado on March 17, 1995. This set features the first released versions of "Armageddon Jig" and "Farmer Ben". "Turn On Your Love Light" is a rhythm and blues song recorded by Bobby Bland in 1961. It was an important R&B and pop chart hit for Bland and has become one of his most identifiable songs. A variety of artists have recorded it, including Them and the Grateful Dead, who made it part of their concert repertoire. Composition and recording "Turn On Your Love Light" was written by band leader and arranger Joe Scott (with an additional credit given to Duke Records owner/producer Don Robey aka Deadric Malone). The MalletKAT is a musical instrument in a class of MIDI percussion controllers which also includes the DrumKAT, DK10, and TrapKat. Description The Control Surface is a velocity-sensitive gum-rubber pad that has force-sensing resistors ( FSR) which detect and convert mechanical energy into electrical signals. The trigger pads are laid out like a conventional marimba. The MalletKAT is made by the company Alternate Mode. Alternate Mode also makes the DrumKAT, DK-10, TrapKAT, and the PanKAT. A piccolo bass is either an electric bass or acoustic double bass which has been tuned to a higher frequency, usually one octave higher than conventional bass tuning.
