''Down with Webster'' is the debut album by Canadian band Down with Webster. It was self released on June 26, 2007. The band worked with producer James Robertson on this album. Robertson later co-produced the band's major label debut, '' Time to Win, Vol. 1''. "Weekends" received airplay on the Toronto radio station, CHUM FM. A music video for "Miracle Mile" was filmed. It was directed by Geoff McLean. Background The album was written and produced by the group in their garage studio in 2006. James Robertson also helped produce the album. Originally, the record was planned to be released in January 2007, however was pushed back into the spring of 2007, until finally being released in June 2007. The band toured around Eastern Canada in the fall of 2006. They also played at the NXNE Festival and the Drake Underground. Down With Webster
Down With Webster is a Canadian rap rock band from The Beaches area of Toronto who signed with Universal Motown in April 2009. Down with Webster was originally formed for a middle school talent show. The band released their first official EP, '' Time to Win, Vol. 1'', on October 6, 2009. The band has achieved success from all three singles from the album, and all three were certified Platinum in Canada. The album itself was certified Platinum in Canada. Their second release, '' Time to Win, Vol. 2'', was released on October 31, 2011. In 2014, they put out their second full-length album, ''Party For Your Life''. CHUM-FM is a Canadian radio station in Toronto, Ontario, broadcasting on 104.5 MHz. Owned by Bell Media, the station airs a hot adult contemporary format. North by Northeast (or NXNE) is an annual music and arts festival held each June in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The festival's main focus is live music, but it also includes an eSports gaming tournament, comedy, a conversations series, a flea market and more. The festival events happen in a variety venues with free events on Canada's largest street, Yonge Street with events on the Street and in Yonge Dundas Square.
