Doula
A doula () is a trained professional who provides expert guidance for the service of others and who supports another person (the doula's client) through a significant health-related experience, such as childbirth, miscarriage, induced abortion or stillbirth, as well as non-reproductive experiences such as dying. A doula may also provide support to the client's partner, family, and friends. The doula's goal and role is to help the client feel safe and comfortable, complementing the role of the healthcare professionals who provide the client's medical care. Unlike a physician, midwife, or nurse, a doula cannot administer medication or other medical treatment or give medical advice. An individual may need to complete training to work as a doula, although training and certification processes vary throughout the world. Doula (anatomy)
A camel (from: la, camelus and grc-gre, κάμηλος (''kamēlos'') from Hebrew or Phoenician: גָמָל ''gāmāl''.) is an even-toed ungulate in the genus ''Camelus'' that bears distinctive fatty deposits known as "humps" on its back. Camels have long been domesticated and, as livestock, they provide food (milk and meat) and textiles (fiber and felt from hair). Camels are working animals especially suited to their desert habitat and are a vital means of transport for passengers and cargo. There are three surviving species of camel. The one-humped dromedary makes up 94% of the world's camel population, and the two-humped Bactrian camel makes up 6%. The Wild Bactrian camel is a separate species and is now critically endangered. ''Doula'' is a 2022 American comedy film written by Arron Shiver, directed by Cheryl Nichols and starring Troian Bellisario, Shiver, Will Greenberg and Chris Pine. Plot Basketball coach Deb is expecting her first child with her artist boyfriend Silvio. Their seasoned doula Penka temporarily lives with the couple as they prepare for the birth. During a guided meditation, Deb and Silvio discover Penka has died. While attending her funeral, they see Penka’s only child Sascha. While at the house to collect his mother’s things, Sascha reminisces about his mother and how they both became doulas. Doula Mouriki
Doula Mouriki ( el, Ντούλα Μουρίκη, 1934–1991) was a Greek Byzantinologist and art historian. She made important contributions to the study of Byzantine art in Greece. Education Doula Mouriki was born in 1934 at Ampelokepi (near Aigio). She earned degrees in history and archaeology in 1956 from the University of Athens. From 1956 to 1957, she received a scholarship to visit the École pratique des hautes études and the Collège de France, where she studied under André Grabar and Paul Lemerle. Afterwards, she returned to the University of Athens to earn a degree in French literature in 1958. In the early 1960s, Mouriki was first hired as a temporary staff member by the National Archaeological Museum of Athens and shortly thereafter as a principal research assistant under Manolis Hatzidakis at the Byzantine and Christian Museum. Siraj Ud-Daulah
Mirza Muhammad Siraj-ud-Daulah ( fa, ; 1733 – 2 July 1757), commonly known as Siraj-ud-Daulah or Siraj ud-Daula, was the last independent Nawab of Bengal. The end of his reign marked the start of the rule of the East India Company over Bengal and later almost all of the Indian subcontinent. Siraj succeeded his maternal grandfather, Alivardi Khan as the Nawab of Bengal in April 1756 at the age of 23. Betrayed by Mir Jafar, the commander of Nawab's army, Siraj lost the Battle of Plassey on 23 June 1757. The forces of the East India Company under Robert Clive invaded and the administration of Bengal fell into the hands of the company.
