Douglas Costa de Souza (born 14 September 1990) is a Brazilian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Midfielder#Winger, winger for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. He is known for his Dribbling#Association football, dribbling skills, speed, acceleration, and Cross (football), crossing ability. Costa started his career with Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, Grêmio, before moving to FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2010 for a fee of €6 million. He won numerous trophies with Shakhtar, including a domestic treble in the 2010–11 FC Shakhtar Donetsk season, 2010–11 season (2010–11 Ukrainian Premier League, Premier League, the 2010–11 Ukrainian Cup, Ukrainian Cup and the Ukrainian Super Cup, Super Cup).
