Douglas Costa De Souza
Douglas Costa de Souza (born 14 September 1990) is a Brazilian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Midfielder#Winger, winger for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. He is known for his Dribbling#Association football, dribbling skills, speed, acceleration, and Cross (football), crossing ability. Costa started his career with Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, Grêmio, before moving to FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2010 for a fee of €6 million. He won numerous trophies with Shakhtar, including a domestic treble in the 2010–11 FC Shakhtar Donetsk season, 2010–11 season (2010–11 Ukrainian Premier League, Premier League, the 2010–11 Ukrainian Cup, Ukrainian Cup and the Ukrainian Super Cup, Super Cup). The Brazil national football team ( pt, Seleção Brasileira de Futebol), nicknamed ''Seleção Canarinho'' (‘Canary Squad’, after their bright yellow jersey), represents Brazil in men's international football and is administered by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), the governing body for football in Brazil.
