Henry Lehrman
Henry Lehrman (March 30, 1881 – November 7, 1946) was an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer. Lehrman was a very prominent figure of Hollywood's silent film era, working with such cinematic pioneers as D. W. Griffith and Mack Sennett. He directed, as well as co-starred in, Charlie Chaplin's very first film, ''Making a Living''. Lehrman was notoriously careless of the safety of the actors who worked for him. He was the lover of the actress Virginia Rappe, for whose death Roscoe Arbuckle, Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle (whom Lehrman had directed in about a dozen films in the early 1920s), in a highly publicized series of trials, was accused, and later acquitted, of manslaughter. John Francis Dillon (July 13, 1884 – April 4, 1934) was an American film director and actor of the silent era. He directed 130 films between 1914 and 1934. He also appeared in 74 films between 1914 and 1931. He was born in New York, New York, was a brother of Robert A. Dillon, and died in Los Angeles, California from a heart attack. He was married to the actress Edith Hallor. Frank Hayes (actor)
Frank Hayes (May 17, 1871 – December 28, 1923) was an American film actor of the silent era. He appeared in more than 70 films between 1913 and 1924. An actor with a unique hatchet face appearance he appeared mostly in comedies. His facial appearance naturally lent to comedic effect in silent films — in particular when he would leave out his dentures — but he also showed up in sentimental farces such as ''A Hoosier Romance'' (1918), an early film starring Colleen Moore. In his last appearance, even though brief in the theatrical cut, he played "Old Grannis" in the tragedy ''Greed''. He died in Hollywood, California from pneumonia, aged 52.
