Dorian (Spanish Band)
Dorian is a Spanish band from Barcelona which was formed in 2004. Its sound is a mixture of styles such as New wave music, new wave, electronic music and indie rock. Dorian is considered one of the most nationally-renowned artists in the Spanish music scene. They regularly go on tour in Latin America and European countries like France and Portugal. As of now they have recorded 6 albums: 4 studio albums with original songs, an unplugged album named ‘’Diez años y un día’’ (featuring acoustic versions of their most successful songs) and a CD which was recorded during their concert at :es:Arenal Sound Festival, Arenal Sound Festival, in 2015. The band was formed by Marc Gili (main composer and lyricist), Belly Hernández (piano, synthesizers, arrangements and vocals) and Bart Sanz (bass). Aviador Dro, short for El Aviador Dro y sus Obreros Especializados (Aviator Dro and His Specialized Workers), is a synthpop and electronic music band from Spain, formed in Madrid in 1979. History The group was founded by schoolmates Arturo Lanz and Servando Carballar in 1979, when they published an ad in a magazine requesting musicians who liked Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire and The Residents to join them. The Postal Service
The Postal Service are an American indie pop supergroup from Seattle, Washington, consisting of singer Ben Gibbard, producer Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis on background vocals. James Scott "Jimmy" Tamborello, also known by his stage name Dntel , is an American electronic music artist and DJ. Aside from his main solo project, Tamborello is also known as a member of the groups The Postal Service, Dntel#Other projects, Headset, and Figurine (band), Figurine, where he is sometimes cited as James Figurine. The Chameleons
The Chameleons are an English rock band, formed in Middleton, Greater Manchester in 1981. The band's classic line-up consisted of lead vocalist and bassist Mark Burgess, guitarists Reg Smithies and Dave Fielding, and drummer John Lever. The band released their debut studio album, '' Script of the Bridge'', in 1983. They followed it with '' What Does Anything Mean? Basically'' and '' Strange Times'' in 1985 and 1986, respectively, before abruptly breaking-up in 1987 due to the sudden death of the band's manager. After the break-up, Burgess and Lever formed the Sun and the Moon, while Fielding and Smithies formed the Reegs. Burgess also had a short solo career with backing band the Sons of God. Nacha Pop
Nacha Pop was a Spanish pop/rock group active from 1978 to 1988. The band was formed by Antonio Vega (singer), Antonio Vega and Nacho García Vega (guitars and vocals), Carlos Brooking (bass) and Ñete (drums). They signed with Spanish EMI subsidiary Hispavox in 1980, and their debut album was produced by Teddy Bautista. Several albums followed, including 1987's ''El Momento'', which was produced by Carlos Narea. Their final concerts took place on October 19 and 20, 1988, after which the group disbanded.
