Donald Clifford Johnson (September 14, 1920 – September 3, 1965) was an American football center and linebacker who played one season with the Cleveland Rams. Johnson was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 14, 1920, to John and Hanna Johnson. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost lineman of the offensive line on a football team's offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each play. The importance of centers for a football team has increased, due to the re-emergence of 3–4 defenses. Austin College and Career Academy High School (formerly known as Austin Polytech High School, commonly known as Austin High School) is a public four-year high school located in the Austin neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen.
