Don't You Ever Leave Me
"Don't You Ever Leave Me" is a song by Finnish glam metal band Hanoi Rocks, released as the third and final single from their 1984 album '' Two Steps from the Move''. "Don't You Ever Leave Me" made its first appearance on Hanoi Rocks' first album ''Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Rocks'', but it had more punky atmosphere and faster tempo. They remade the version, which the band loved much more. It is usually considered one of the best songs by Hanoi Rocks. The band's guitarist Andy McCoy commented on the song in Finnish ''Soundi'' magazine in 1984: "Well, yeah, we screwed up that song so bad back then, that we had to remake it now. As a song, I think it's fucking great and this version is what the original should have been.". The version of "Don't You Ever Leave Me" that's on the 12" single differs from the album and 7" single versions, as the 12" single version features the narration's (originally spoken by McCoy and Razzle) spoken by McCoy in Spanish. Hanoi Rocks
Hanoi Rocks was a Finnish rock band formed in 1979. They were the first Finnish band to chart in the UK and they were also popular in Japan. The band broke up in June 1985 after drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley died in a drunk driving accident with Vince Neil behind the wheel during their first US tour in December 1984. After their initial break-up, Michael Monroe was the first Finnish artist to chart on the American Billboard 200 in 1989. Original vocalist Michael Monroe and guitarist Andy McCoy reunited in 2001 with a new lineup that lasted until 2009. Although musically closer to traditional rock n' roll and punk, the band have been cited as a major influence in the glam metal genre for bands such as Guns N' Roses, Skid Row and Poison. Hardcore Superstar is a Swedish heavy metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band was formed in 1997 and have released eleven studio albums. History The first ten years (1997–2007) 1997–2004 Hardcore Superstar was formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1997 by Joakim Berggren and Martin Sandvik. Their previous band Link had been grunge-inspired but with their new band they wanted to pull more towards rock'n'roll. Gyp Casino
Gyp Casino (born as Jesper Sporre on 7 May 1961) is a Swedish rock drummer. He played in Warheads (under his real name) and was the original drummer for Hanoi Rocks. He was replaced by Razzle in 1982. Although he does not appear on the cover for ''Self Destruction Blues'', Casino does play on the record. In 1995, Casino reunited with former Hanoi Rocks bandmate Andy McCoy for a tour with his then band Shooting Gallery.
