The group recorded with Finn over a period of three months at numerous locations, including their hometown of San Diego and in Los Angeles. Finn was key in producing the fast-paced, melodic mixes, creating a pop punk sound with a more radio-friendly, accessible polish. Lyrically, the album ...

These Systems Are Failing
''These Systems Are Failing'' is the thirteenth studio album by American electronica musician Moby and the debut studio album by Moby & The Void Pacific Choir, a musical project formed by Moby with musicians Mindy Jones, Julie Mintz, Joel Nesvadba, Jamie Drake, Jonathan Nesvadba, and Lauren Tyler Scott. It was released on October 14, 2016 by record labels Little Idiot and Mute. Critical reception Andrew Dorsett of ''PopMatters'' stated "''These Systems Are Failing'' arrives at your ears with all the subtlety and sonic nuance of a brick wall. It would probably sound like this in any format based on the way it was produced, but when listened to as MP3s as most listeners doubtlessly will, its weaknesses are quite literally amplified... Only through brief glimpses is one able to perceive the dystopian present as Moby and company wish for us to see it. As a work of social activism the album is able to at least make a point, but as a work of art, it generally fails to cast the spell" ...

Don't Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas)
"Don't Leave Me (Ne Me Quitte Pas)" is a song by Regina Spektor, from her 2012 album ''What We Saw from the Cheap Seats''. It was released as the album's second single on March 26, 2012. Although a handful of critics assumed this was an English-language cover version of Jacques Brel's song "Ne me quitte pas", Spektor's song is different in every way except the title. The chord structure, melody, and lyrics are all completely different. Brel's song was written in the key of A minor, in 3/4 time. It is a slow, haunting story of a man trying to win back his former lover—a song about the cowardice of men according to Brel. In contrast, Spektor's song is lively, in 4/4 time, and in a major key. Its lyrics evoke a carefree jaunt through various neighborhoods of New York City, the narrator describing all the beautiful and interesting things encountered along the way. Somehow the narrator ends up in the cafés and gardens of Paris, and the song ends with repeated declarations of ...

''Don't Leave Me'' () is a 2009 novel by the Norwegian writer Stig Sæterbakken. It tells the story of a 17-year-old boy with a dark personality who falls in love with a woman for the first time, but his fear that she will leave him destroys the relationship. This text gives me the sensation that every sentence is carefully elaborated, that the language wants something, moves towards something, grabs ahold. ''Dagbladet ''Dagbladet'' ( ...
