''Don't Be S.A.F.E.'' (an acronym for Sensitive As Fuck Everyday) is the debut mixtape by American rapper Trinidad James. The mixtape was self-released on September 18, 2012, but was re-released exclusively to retailers on January 29, 2013 by Gold Gang Records and Def Jam Recordings. The mixtape features guest appearances by other indie artists including Reija Lee (of the electronic duo Kito & Reija Lee), ForteBowie, Juke and others. Nicholaus Joseph Williams (born September 24, 1987), better known by his stage name Trinidad James (often stylized as Trinidad Jame$), is a Trinidadian-American rapper. In 2012, he signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings. The label dropped him in 2014 when he failed to release an album, although he continues to release music as an independent artist and is signed to Artist Publishing Group for songwriting. Early life Nicholaus Williams was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. His family moved to Canada and Florida before settling in the Bronx, New York City. Shante Scott Franklin (born April 4, 1981), better known by his stage name Currensy (often stylized as Curren$y), is an American rapper. In 2011, he founded the label Jet Life Recordings. Music career 2002–2008: No Limit and Young Money In 2002, Currensy was signed to Master P's No Limit Records and was a late addition to the 504 Boyz. A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove.
