''Do You Know'' is the second studio album by American singer and songwriter Michelle Williams. It was released by the Sanctuary Records Group and Columbia Records on January 26, 2004 in the United States. ''Do You Know'' "straddles between contemporary gospel and inspirational R&B" and is described as portraying "a more intimate side of Michelle". It contains a greater percentage of mid and up-tempo songs, along with a much heavier and grander use of live instrumentation. Williams contributed lyrically to the album as she did with her debut album, co-writing a total of six songs. However, ''Do You Know'' is much more diverse, lyrically, than its predecessor ''Heart to Yours'', covering the themes of "spiritual" and "carnal" love and contains retrospective songs about Williams' career thus far, whilst still retaining the inspirational and encouraging lyrics that characterised ''Heart to Yours''. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 45th Grammy Awards and the track "Take Me As I Am" was nominated for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. It was initially recorded by American singer Thelma Houston in 1973, and then by Diana Ross as the theme to the 1975 Motown/ Paramount film ''Mahogany''. Lara McAllen is an English singer, songwriter and vocal producer. Biography McAllen is the singer for the dance-pop music project Angel City. She began dancing at the age of five, and briefly pursued a modelling career before becoming a backing dancer for the pop singer Shakira at age 19. She then began her career as a dance music vocalist with Angel City when she signed her first recording contract with Ministry of Sound at age 20. ''Firefly'' is the 10th studio album by British rock band Uriah Heep, released in February 1977 by Bronze Records in the UK and Warner Bros. Records in the US. It was their first album without lead vocalist and founding member David Byron, and the first of three albums with new singer John Lawton, formerly of Lucifer's Friend. Bassist Trevor Bolder made his Uriah Heep debut on this album. Barring a break of about 18 months in the early 1980s, he remained with the group until his death in 2013. The first single from the album was " Wise Man". The original vinyl album was a gatefold sleeve, with a cardboard lyric liner. The album was remastered and reissued by Castle Communications in 1997 with four bonus tracks, and again in 2004 in an expanded deluxe edition.
