The Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (; DDUVS/DSUIA) is a university of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, located in the city of Dnipro. It is a Higher educational institution of the fourth accreditation level. History "Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs" (formally: "Dnipropetrovsk Artillery Academy"), not to be confused with "Oles Honchar Dnipro National University" (formally known as Dnipropetrovsk State University of 300-Year Reunion of Ukraine and Russia), was established on 16 March 1966 as the Dnipropetrovsk Specialized Secondary School School of Militsiya of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Soviet Union. In 1992, it was renamed the Dnipropetrovsk College of Militsiya of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The Ştefan cel Mare Police Academy ( ro, Academia "Ștefan cel Mare" a Ministerului Afacerilor Interne) is the police academy of Moldova. It is named after Stephen III of Moldavia, who ruled the country as Voivode (Prince) from 1457 and 1504. It primarily trains personnel of the General Police Inspectorate in their future service as law enforcement officers.
