Dnipro
Dnipro, previously called Dnipropetrovsk from 1926 until May 2016, is Ukraine's fourth-largest city, with about one million inhabitants. It is located in the eastern part of Ukraine, southeast of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on the Dnieper River, after which its Ukrainian language name (Dnipro) it is named. Dnipro is the Capital (political), administrative centre of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It hosts the administration of Dnipro urban hromada. FC Dnipro-75 Dnipropetrovsk
FC Dnipro-75 Dnipropretrovsk is a youth football school of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. History In late 2000s as a professional football team based in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine it competed at the Ukrainian Second League, but was expelled from the PFL after not paying the spring 2010 playing dues. Dnipro-75 Dnipropretrovsk entered the professional competition in 2008. The team grew from their successful youth sports school that was opened in 1975. The team became sponsored by the building company ''DYK'' which invested in forming a professional team in Dnipropetrovsk. Dnipro-75 Dnipropetrovsk competed in the Druha Liha B. Dniproavia ( uk, Дніпроавіа) was an airline headquartered at Dnipro International Airport in Dnipro, Ukraine, which operated scheduled and chartered passenger flights. History Dniproavia was established in 1933 as ''Dnipropetrovsk Integrated Air Squad'', forming part of then Soviet national airline Aeroflot. On 22 June 1996, the airline became a joint stock company in a state-owned entity which included Dnipropetrovsk International Airport, thus giving the airline full control over its home base. Dniproavia announced a loss of just over 6 million USD for 2006, despite increasing revenues by 17 percent and carrying 54 percent more passengers. 39th Territorial Defence Battalion 'Dnipro-2' (Ukraine)
The 39th Motorized Infantry Battalion "Dnipro-2" was a military formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces in 2014-2016. The battalion was created in May 2014 in response to Russian aggression as a 39th volunteer territorial defense battalion "Dnipro-2" from the residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Fighters of the battalion took part in fierce battles for Ilovaisk in August 2014. It was disbanded in 2016 and transformed into 55th Artillery Brigade (Ukraine). FC Cherkashchyna ( uk, ФК Черкащина) was a professional Ukrainian football club from the city of Cherkasy.
