Dive Bomb (guitar Technique)
Dive bomb is a guitar technique in which the tremolo bar, or whammy bar is used to rapidly lower the pitch of a note, creating a sound considered to be similar to a bomb dropping. One of the most recognized pioneers of this technique is Jimi Hendrix. Other musicians who used this technique are Dave Murray, Herman Li, Eddie Van Halen, Brian May, Joe Satriani and Tom Scholz of Boston. Some guitarists, such as K.K. Downing, Glenn Tipton, Jeff Hanneman and Dimebag Darrell have used a variation of this technique in which a harmonic, most commonly a pinch harmonic, is used instead of a normal fretted or open note creating a sound arguably closer to that of a bomb due to the squealing sound created by the harmonic. String Noise
In guitar and string instrument musical technique, technique, string noise is the noise created by the movement of the fingers of one hand (usually the left hand) against the strings (music), strings, such as when shift (string technique), shifting on one string, or changing from one string to another. String noise is often an unwanted side-effect that musicians try to avoid or minimize, especially when playing with amplification or distortion (music), distortion (as on an electric guitar). The Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo, or simply Floyd Rose, is a type of locking vibrato arm for a guitar. Floyd D. Rose invented the locking vibrato in 1976, the first of its kind, and it is now manufactured by a company of the same name. The Floyd Rose gained popularity in the 1980s through guitarists like Eddie Van Halen, Neal Schon, Brad Gillis, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Alex Lifeson, who used its ability to stay in tune even with extreme changes in pitch. Bo Diddley
Ellas McDaniel (born Ellas Otha Bates; December 30, 1928 – June 2, 2008), known professionally as Bo Diddley, was an American guitarist who played a key role in the transition from the blues to rock and roll. George Lawrence Thorogood (born February 24, 1950) is an American musician, singer and songwriter from Wilmington, Delaware. The Black Keys

"Smokin'" is a song by American rock band Boston, released from the band's debut album ''Boston'' (1976) as the B-side to the band's first single, " More Than a Feeling". "Smokin'" was written by the band leader, guitarist and main songwriter Tom Scholz and lead vocalist Brad Delp. Like many other Boston songs "Smokin'" has become a rock radio staple. "Calm Like a Bomb" is a song by American rock band Rage Against the Machine from their third album ''The Battle of Los Angeles''. Like their song "Tire Me" from the 1996 album '' Evil Empire'', “Calm Like a Bomb” never had a music video or was released on any media formats. It did however receive enough radio airplay to become an album favorite. William Michael Albert Broad (born 30 November 1955), known professionally as Billy Idol, is a British-American singer, songwriter, and musician.
