Disney Channel (Asian TV Channel)
Disney Channel was a pan-Asian pay television kids channel owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia; part of The Walt Disney Company Asia-Pacific. It began broadcasting in Taiwan on 29 March 1995, until its main launch on January 2000, when it first broadcast in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines. It later expanded to most Southeast Asian countries in the months following. The channel was closed on 1 October 2021, while Taiwan's branch ended on 1 January 2022, as part of a wider switch to streaming services Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar.
