''Discovering the Waterfront'' is the second studio album by Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein. The album was promoted with three music videos for the tracks "Smile in Your Sleep", "Discovering the Waterfront", and "My Heroine". Recording ''Discovering the Waterfront'' was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, California, and Maple Sound Studios in Santa Ana, California, between March and April 2005 with producer Cameron Webb. Webb also engineered and mixed the album. Release On April 13, 2005, ''Discovering the Waterfront'' was announced for release in four months' time. In April and May 2005, the group performed across the US as part of the Fueled By Ramen & Friends Tour, and appeared at The Bamboozle festival. Silverstein () is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 2000. Their band name is a reference to the famous children's author Shel Silverstein, whom the band had admired and whose work they had read as children. They have released a total of 11 studio albums, seven EPs, a compilation album and a live DVD/CD. Behind Crimson Eyes is a band based in Australia. The band formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 2004. Take Action Tour
The Take Action Tour is an annual spring tour that not only hosts several bands, but also tries to get people alerted about the issues with teen suicide, and ultimately tries to prevent it. The tour was created by both Sub City and Hopeless Records. A portion of the ticket sales and compilation CD sales are donated to the cause. In recent years, the tour has chosen bands that have fans more of the demographic age group. In 2011, Sub City Records announced a new beneficiary Sex, Etc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising teen awareness of sexually transmitted diseases and the benefits of safe sex. Stretch Arm Strong (Also known as Stretch Armstrong) is a hardcore punk band from Columbia, South Carolina, and the flagship band for We Put Out Records. They were primarily active from 1992 to 2005. Several of the band members are outspoken Christians, but they prefer not to be classified as a Christian band in some cases. Vocalist Chris McLane appears on Zao's ''The Lesser Lights of Heaven'' DVD. In 2020, the band was announced to perform at Furnace Fest 2020. Sincebyman was a five-piece American band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, founded in 1999. Their debut full-length album, ''We Sing the Body Electric'', was released on November 30, 2002.
