Disciples Of Babylon
Disciples of Babylon is an American rock band based in Hollywood consisting of Eric Knight, Ramon Blanco, Gui Bodi, and Chris Toeller. The band was founded in 2012, and released their first EP ''Welcome to Babylon'' in 2015. Their first studio album ''The Rise and Fall of Babylon'' was released in 2017. They broke up in 2021. History 2012–2015: Formation and ''Welcome to Babylon'' Disciples of Babylon was founded in 2012 by lead singer and guitarist Eric Knight. Knight invited guitarist Ramon Blanco to join the band after watching Blanco perform a guitar solo of Alter Bridge's " Blackbird" online. Knight and Blanco began writing music together immediately, and wrote the song "Arrived" during their first writing session. Bassist Gui Bodi and drummer Chris Toeller subsequently joined the band. The Viper Room
The Viper Room is a nightclub and live music venue located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, United States. It was established as The Viper Room in 1993 and was partly owned by actor Johnny Depp. The other part owner was Sal Jenco who starred in ''21 Jump Street'' with Depp. The club became known for being a hangout of the young Hollywood elite, and was the site where actor River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on the night before Halloween in 1993. In early 1995, Australian singer and actor Jason Donovan suffered a drug-induced seizure at the club, but survived. The Dew Tour is an extreme sports circuit organized by the Adventure Sports Group, a subsidiary of American Media, LLC. History The tour was announced in late 2004, and made its debut in Louisville, KY in June 2005. The tour then made stops in Denver, Portland, Oregon, and San Jose, California, and wrapped up its inaugural season in Orlando, Florida, in October that year. In its first year, the tour was a major success and returned to those five cities in 2006. In 2007, the tour replaced their Louisville, Denver and San Jose stops with events in Baltimore, Cleveland, and Salt Lake City. They did return to Portland and Orlando that year. Andrés Torres (born 1987) is a Colombian record producer and musician, best known for producing the 2017 song "Despacito" by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee. Torres made his professional debut in 2012 as an assistant engineer after playing drums in four bands during his teenage years. Shortly after that, he won a scholarship for drummers at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles and produced his first album thanks to Colombian producer Andrés Saavedra. Eric Knight is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, artist manager, entrepreneur, and entertainment industry professional originally from the Miami suburb of Hialeah. He is the founder and lead singer for Los Angeles rock group Disciples of Babylon as well as Founder and CEO of artist management agency, Persistent Management. Early life Eric Knight is the son of Cuban immigrants, Carlos Diaz, former rhythm guitarist for the Miami-based band Shango, and Nerida Diaz. At age 13, Knight was performing in night clubs in the greater Miami area. Music career Eric Knight was the lead singer of the Miami hard rock act Vandal from 1990 to 1995. In 1990 he met John Tovar who had discovered and was managing Marilyn Manson and The Mavericks, and was interested in working with Knight's band.
