Public Gas Corporation of Greece A.E. (DEPA; el, Δημόσια Επιχείρηση Αερίου (ΔΕΠΑ) Α.Ε.) commonly known for its Greek abbreviation DEPA ( el, ΔΕΠΑ, translit=DEPA) is the natural gas supply company of Greece. The registered office of the company is based in Irakleio, Attica. It operates within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Development. The current chairman is Ioannis Papadopoulos while Konstantinos Xifaras serves as CEO. In 2005, in order to liberalise the natural gas market, DESFA was created as a fully owned subsidiary to transport natural gas within Greece. Since then, DEPA sells gas to large consumers and to the gas supply companies. Natural gas is imported by pipelines from Bulgaria and Turkey and by liquefied natural gas at the Revithoussa LNG Terminal. Nani Bala Barua (March 25, 1911 - September 1, 1989), better known as Dipa Ma, was an Indian meditation teacher of Theravada Buddhism and was of Barua descent. She was a prominent Buddhist master in Asia and also taught in the United States where she influenced the American branch of the Vipassana movement. Early life Nani Bala Barua was born in on March 25, 1911 in a small village in Chittagong, East Bengal, then in British India but now part of Bangladesh. In her childhood she showed an exceptional interest in Buddhist rituals and preferred to study rather than play. Dipa Karmakar (born 9 August 1993) is an Indian Gymnast from Tripura State. She is the first gymnast of India who competed in the Olympics. In her debut 2016 Summer Olympics, in the final she reached till 4th position. At the Rio Olympics, she lost an Olympic medal by just 0.15 points; due to her historic achievement at Rio Olympic, she became a well known Gymnast as well as a face of gymnastics in India.
