''Playa Saturno'' (English: ''Saturn Beach'') is the fourth studio album by Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro, released on July 7, 2023, by Sony Music Latin and Duars Entertainment. It was introduced as a spin-off, and released nearly 7 months after his third studio album ''Saturno (album), Saturno'' (2022). Alejandro began working on the album during his Saturno World Tour, immersing himself from the studio into the cosmic world he created, resulting in this 14-track project. While taking on a different sonic approach from its prequel, the record covers a variety of topics from love and heartbreak, to having fun and partying. ''Playa Saturno'' debuted at number 29 on the US Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200, including number 3 on the Latin Rhythm Albums and number 4 on the Top Latin Albums chart with over 21,000 album-equivalent units. Rauw Alejandro
Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz (born January 10, 1993), known professionally as Rauw Alejandro, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Referred to as the " King of Modern Reggaeton", he belongs to "the new generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. His debut studio album, '' AfrodisÃaco'', was released in November 2020. Album-equivalent Unit
The album-equivalent unit, or album equivalent, is a measurement unit in music industry to define the consumption of music that equals the purchase of one album copy. This consumption includes streaming and song downloads in addition to traditional album sales. The album-equivalent unit was introduced in the mid- 2010s as an answer to the drop of album sales in the 21st century. Album sales more than halved from 1999 to 2009, declining from a $14.6 to $6.3 billion industry. For instance, the only albums that went platinum in the United States in 2014 were the '' Frozen'' soundtrack and Taylor Swift's ''1989'', whereas several artists' works had in 2013. Luis Miguel González Bosé (born 3 April 1956), usually known as Miguel Bosé, is a Spanish pop new wave singer and actor. Early life Bosé was born in San Fernando Hospital in Panama City, Panama, the son of Italian actress Lucia Bosè (1931–2020) and Spanish bullfighter Luis Miguel DominguÃn. Jowell & Randy are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo composed of Joel Muñoz (born March 3, 1982) and Randy Ortiz (born July 16, 1983). Ñejo & Dalmata
Ñejo & Dálmata, also known as Ñejo y Dálmata, are a reggaeton duo from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ñejo was born June 20, 1975 & Dálmata was born February 27, 1979. They had worked together in collaborations with other reggaeton artists before they released their duo album ''Broke & Famous'' in 2007 which peaked at 8 on the 'Billboard Latin Rhythms Albums Chart" and at 9 on the "Top Heatseekers (South Atlantic) Chart", as well as a number of their singles also charting on Billboard. Ñejo has been involved with reggaeton since the production of DJ Joe 5 was released. They started working as a duo on ''Fatal Fantasy 2''.
